I met this sweet couple for the first time in Middleburg, Virginia for their engagement session (if you haven’t been, you should go check out how gorgeous it is). It was a cloudy day with a forecast for rain but Jobie is a Green Beret and travels often, so they decided we could make the session happen anyway. I am pretty sure nothing (even cloudy weather) could bring down the joy and happiness between these two. Their love for one another is so apparent and I admire and appreciate what each of them do and give up every day to protect us and our country. I absolutely loved getting to know both of them and cannot wait for their wedding in May! 
A few weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to capture two of my dear friends and their latest addition, Connor. You may remember seeing Conman on the blog once before, right after he entered this world (you can check it out here), and it was so much fun capturing him almost 6 months later. I absolutely love this sweet family and am so thankful we made this happen before they make a big move to a new city. Hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their sunrise session on the Georgetown waterfront.
Josie & Shawn’s wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so excited to finally be sharing it with you. This couple and their wedding are so near and dear to my heart that I can’t quite put into words how wonderful it was to be part of it. Thus, I will let the images do most of the work but I love that Josie and Shawn incorporated themselves and what they believe in throughout the details of the day. They had a Quaker ceremony, all of the vegetables were grown locally on a farm owned by a friend, the flowers were all grown locally by a friend, and they served all local wines and beers – how amazing is that? Josie and Shawn, thank you for allowing me to capture this amazing day – I know you two have a lifetime of happiness together ahead.
