mere & chris on film

So you all have already seen a preview of these images but I am so excited to share more.  As I mentioned before, I shot my very first rolls of film about a month ago and fell in love.  There is something so incredible about the act of shooting film that I can’t quite put into words.  Plus, the beauty of the colors and softness that result is undeniable.  I still have so so much to learn and improve on but I absolutely cannot wait to shoot my next rolls.  A huge thank you to Lucy Taylor for mentoring me, inspiring me, and sharing her knowledge of film.  Thank you to Edward of Contax Rental for providing me with a camera last minute and for being so helpful and kind.  And lastly, thank you to the two greatest friends a girl could ask for, Mere & Chris, for modeling (in a time crunch before the sun set) and always encouraging me.  Scans by the wonderful Film Box Lab.
